The 2010 World Cup which was held in South Africa was a huge success - many of the problems that people thought would spoil the event never happened. The only two critisims are England never won the World Cup and there were not enough goals :) Be sure to check out the

France V Uruguay Match in Cape Town
Cape Town played host to 5 first round games, one second round game, one quarter final and one semi final. All eight games were hugely successful with over 500,000 fans filling the stadium. Cape Town was lucky enough to have the game with the highest goal total when Portugal destroyed Korea 7 goals to 0 - Cape Town also saw as the mighty Portugal were then humbled 1 goal to 0 by Spain.

Cape Town fan walk
The fan walk in Cape Town was used to transport fans from the city to the Waterfront and the stadium in a safe but fun environment - where up to 72,000 people used it to get to the Cameroon V Netherlands match and in total 500,000 pairs feet walked the walk!
