At the heart of the
V&A Waterfront lies the Two Oceans Aquarium. This Aquarium is quite unusual due to the fact that it showcases marine life found on the two oceans that join at the tip Cape Town at
Cape Point, the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean.
This spectacular aquarium is home to over 3000 sea creatures. So if seeing sharks, exotic fishes, turtles, seahorses and penguins are on your list of things to do in Cape Town, then giving this place a visit should definitely be a must.
You can see daily feeding of the fishes at 15:00pm or if sharks are more your thing, they also do a shark feed in the Predators Exhibit at 15:00pm on Sundays.
Once at the aquarium a must see feature is the living forest of kelp, there is only one other place on the planet where this can be seen and that is in California at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. In Cape Town you can see divers feed the fish that thrive in the kelp forest twice a week at midday on Wednesdays and Sundays.
