For a unique Cape Town experience visit Imhoff farm and Noordhoek farm village, they are within a 30 minute drive from each other and both together make an excellent day out. Imhoff farm is in Kommetjie and Noordhoek farm village is in Noordhoek close to Chapmans Peak drive.

Imhoff farm whilst not very big is packed full of charm and character with small shops selling hand made ornaments and furniture, as well as wooden homewares.

The restaurants on offer include an Italian restaurant and a cafe both selling quality and delicious food as well as outside dining.

The first Saturday of every month sees a market in the Imhoff court yard with many of the local residents in Kommetjie turning out to sell their home made food and crafts.

Noordhoek farm village has many small shops for you to wonder through from African art shops to Hindu clothing shops. Every other Sunday music is played from the band stand free for for all to enjoy.

The nags head pub offers a fine beer and good food as well as Cafe Roux. Visit the Noordhoek farm village website in order to view the events that will be taking place.

Noordhoek farm village is very green, as it is partially set in trees with plenty of green grass around which is an excellent area for a picknick.
