Noordhoek is situated between the city center and Cape Point, on the Atlantic ocean side of Cape Town. The 3.5KM (2 miles) beach stretches from Noordhoek to Kommetjie and is a dominating figure in this relaxed suburb.

The beach is host to many activities such as surfing, kite surfing, horse riding and has been the back drop to many films, TV adverts and music videos.

After a day walking along the beach and maybe taking a horse ride (which starts from Imhoff farm) and why not relax and have a drink at the Red Herring look out post, which has been voted as one of the worlds best sunset view bars in the world.
