Cape Town Activites

The two oceans marathon is probably the most beautiful marathon in the world as it takes in all of the Cape Peninsular through Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, over Chapmans Peak through Constantia Nek with the marathon eventually finishing in the ground of Cape Town University.

The race is a long 35 miles making it an ultra marathon - with a half marathon (13.1 miles) also being run at the same time for those who don't wish to test their limits to such a degree.

In 2007 8,000 people entered the ultra marathon and 11,000 people entered the half marathon making if the biggest half marathon in South Africa. The race is sponsored by the bank, Old Mutal and the sports company, Puma.
